I’m not so good with giving speeches but…here goes nothing.
I’ve been using tumblr since April 2010 [and fast approaching my 3rd year of using tumblr next year] and I have never actually thought of making an anime blog then.
After I graduated from college, I’ve decided to go back and do my old hobbies from when I was still in high school. One of those hobbies was drawing anime fan arts. Of course, I’m not very updated with the latest shows so I had to ask a friend of mine [a kouhai Psych student to be specific] who’s an otaku for suggestions. It lead me to watch Sword Art Online.
At first, I just wanted to study the way they are drawn and another reason was because the story really intrigued me. I soon realized that my old otaku self is coming back. I came in contact with one anime blog and soon enough, I followed more anime blogs. Because I was using my personal blog, I suddenly thought “Maybe I should make an anime blog”.
I couldn’t make my personal blog an anime blog because I have friends there who actually knew me and I just don’t want to spam so much anime posts when I know those people are not really interested in such. And I’m also following Psychology related blogs in my personal blog to help me remember all of the lessons I’ve learned in college.
So starting last September, I’ve spent every spare time I had thinking of a good theme to use and pages that I’ll include. By the time I’ve finished coding and editing my blog, it was already November and I’ve decided to go ahead with the plan and followed some awesome blogs and join an anime network.
Soon enough, people started following me too and I was glad. I didn’t think I would be able to maintain this due to me having a work now and earning a living. And there are also times when I’m having some doubts if all of this was worth it. But thanks to these awesome blogs and the people who followed me up until this time, I’m glad I still stayed.
So here’s to the people I’ve come to love and will forever follow for they have filled my dash with such beautiful posts.

I was playing Scrabble with my Mom yesterday and coincidentally, my tiles formed the circled word. Haha. I would’ve scored 33 points for that but sadly, it’s not an accepted English word. In the end, I lost to my Mom. She scored 227 points while I scored 223 points. Close enough. XD
